Cancellation Policy: A refund will not be issued once registration is received. However, an alternate participant is welcome.

SQM Group (SQM) reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event sponsored by SQM without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. SQM may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used, or contracted by SQM, including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, social media sites, etc. To ensure the privacy of individuals, images will not be identified (i.e., will not use full names or other personal identifying information) without written approval from the photographed individual(s).

A person attending an SQM event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should inform the photographer and/or the event organizers and/or contact SQM. We can be reached in writing at 3126 31 Ave #200 Vernon, BC V1T 2H1, of their wishes and include a photograph. SQM will use the photograph for identification purposes and hold it confidently. By participating in an SQM event or failing to notify SQM, in writing, of your desire not to have your photograph used by SQM, you agree to release, defend, hold harmless, and indemnify SQM from any claims involving the use of your image or likeness.

Any person or organization not affiliated with SQM may not use, copy, alter, or modify SQM photographs, graphics, videography, or other similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission of an authorized individual from SQM.

Reservation Information

The DeSoto Hotel’s lavishly appointed guestrooms and suites are perfect for the modern southern traveler featuring spacious, well-defined living and work areas and oversized bathrooms. The sophisticated accommodations are ideal no matter the occasion.

Rooms for the conference will be available at a $239 rate. Guests can make reservations individually through the Reservations Department by calling 1-855-703-4655 and referencing the SQM hotel block code 2504SERVQL.

Please note that Room Categories, Views, and Bed Types are not guaranteed. The SQM room block cut-off date is March 17, 2025, so reservations may no longer be guaranteed. Reservations can be canceled up to 7 days before arrival without penalty. No-shows will be charged the cost of the entire stay to the guest's credit card as a cancellation fee.

The DeSoto Hotel does not have transportation to the hotel, however, there are many options for transportation. Taxi and Uber rates are $30 - $50 to/from the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport.
